MIT Media Lab & WEF Launch Strategic Intelligence Space Map

The MIT Media Lab, in partnership with the World Economic Forum, has released the Strategic Intelligence Map on Space. The tool brings together key trends, risks, and opportunities shaping the future of space.

By mapping issues ranging from orbital debris and satellite infrastructure to governance, security, and commercial use, the platform provides policymakers, businesses, and researchers with a clear overview of the global space landscape. It also shows how space is a fundamentally inter-connected 'global business'.

The Map is designed to support evidence-based decision-making, highlight emerging challenges, and encourage collaboration across sectors as commercial activity in space rapidly expands.
